When my husband and I started our service company it was an attempt to make more money and have more flexibility. We both hated having to take off work every time we had a doctor’s appointment or the kids had a parent teacher conference and whatnot and generally were just exhausted with answering to bosses for so many years. I love my husband but it’s been a roller coaster ride learning to work together, I tell you what! I was the one who started all the logistics – looking at http://www.texaselectricityproviders.com for the electric and contacting vendors on our behalf and he did the creative stuff like the signage and the marketing and whatnot. Things are going well in the business sense but he and I have some work to do on our communication skills because it’s really hard for us to not let this business bleed over into our personal lives. I think it’s good to note we’re talking about going to counseling though so that should help once we get started.
