APRC China Rally and looking ahead to 2013

The China Rally Longyou is the sixth and final event in this year’s championship, and Team MRF drivers Chris Atkinson and Gaurav Gill have ensured that the Race Torque prepared Skoda Fabia S2000s have been the cars to beat in 2012.

Atkinson and co-driver, Stephane Prevot, have an almost unassailable lead over New Zealander, Brian Green, in the Drivers’ Championship, while Team MRF are 62 points clear of Proton in the APRC Teams Trophy. Keep up with the latest results on news on our website www.aprc.tv

Planning for 2013 – Thailand Rally returns

With China Rally the final event for 2012, the APRC is already looking ahead and planning for 2013. The calendar is very similar to 2012 and the Thailand Rally returns as a round of the Asia Cup to bring the total number of events to seven.

Three new car manufacturers and two tyre companies are expected to announce plans to join or increase their presence in the APRC in 2013.
