Andreas Mikkelsen and Mads Ostberg take on alpine stars on TV challenge

Never one to pass up a challenge, Andreas Mikkelsen was in a Norwegian TV studio recently, filming Hvem kan slå Aamodt og Kjus? (Who can beat Aamodt and Kjus?) in front of a live audience.

Forget It’s a Knockout, this was seriously physically and mentally challenging stuff – as Kjetil Andre Aamodt and Lasse Kjus are world famous alpine athletes, who have together won several Olympic and World Championship medals.

The TV show is very popular in Norway and many top Norwegian sportsmen have tried to beat Aamodt and Kjus. This time it was the turn of Andreas, who teamed up with fellow Norwegian rally driver Mads Østberg. As for the result, you’ll have to tune into TV-Norge to find out – but we’ll put it on Facebook after it’s been broadcast.

“It was really great fun,” said Andreas. “We had to do so many different tasks, which against the clock and in front of a live studio audience was not so easy.”
