Ramona and Miriam in 2nd place after first day of Rally New Zealand

After first day of Rally New Zealand, Ramona and Miriam is in second place of the PWRC cars, 1:40,1 minutes after leader M. Ligato and 37,7 seconds ahead of V. Gorban who’s in third place at the moment. The stages has been fast this far.

- We are really pleased, Ramona says. We’ve made it through the toughest stages of the rally without any damages to the car, and we managed to maintain a high speed and still not taking unnecessary risks. On the last stages we were somewhat held back by the car ahead of us, but other than that everything has been going smoothly. We were stage winners on SS 3 and SS 4, and that feels very positive!

Ramona and Miriam are now preparing for tomorrow’s challenges – 150 kilometers (93 miles) of special stages, the roads will be fast and leaning in the curves.
