FIA WRC Academy regulations published

M-Sport is pleased to announce that the FIA WRC Academy Regulations have been ratified by the FIA and are now available to download at www.wrc.com/wrcacademy. Making its celebrated debut last year, the WRC Academy has become one of the most exciting feeder series in recent years.

With the deadline for entries in just under three weeks time, WRC Academy promoter M-Sport has confirmed that there will initially be 18 places available for the 2012 season and that the promoter is currently in talks with a number of potential competitors.

Kate Rhodes, WRC Academy Manager, said:

“We are currently discussing the 2012 series with 23 drivers from all corners of the globe, all of whom are working towards competing in the WRC Academy this year. We are aware of the impending entry deadline, but initial indications are that the Academy will have another strong entry in 2012.”
